Objective:

The PSIP Patient Component is an interactive Clinical Decision Support System enabling patients to identify their risk of Adverse Drug Events according to their conditions and their ordered medications.

Data source:

The PSIP Patient Component uses an Adverse Drug Events automatic detection rules base elaborated in the PSIP project. It is based on specific data entry (related to PSIP rules base) performed by the patient.

How to test the demo:

1) Enter:
  •Your characteristics, age, diagnoses, lab results
  • Ordered medication

2) Check for risks of potential Adverse Drug Events :
  • By default you get PSIP alerts.
  • In the right upper box, you can display the Vidal alerts.
