Objective:

The PSIP Web prototype is an interactive Clinical Decision Support System enabling healthcare professionals to identify the risk of Adverse Drug Events for a patient according his/her conditions and his/her ordered medications.

Data source:

The PSIP Web prototype uses an Adverse Drug Events automatic detection rules base elaborated in the PSIP project. It is based on specific data entry (related to PSIP rules base) performed by healthcare professional.

How to test the demo:

1) Enter:
  • The patient characteristics, age, diagnoses, lab results
  • Ordered medication

2) Check for risks of potential Adverse Drug Events :
  • By default you get PSIP alerts with the confidence 5%.
  • In the right upper box, you can change the level of       confidence and/or display the Vidal alerts.
